Find Ancestors

I am not new to this but haven't searched for a few years. Keep hitting a brick wall trying to find the maiden name of my 3x great grandmother, Mary Pearson. According to census returns she was born in Finchley Barnmon, Middlesex around 1784. She married James Pearson born Cropton, Yorkshire, in Marylebone, Middlesex.
I can only find two marriages of a James Pearson in Marylebone, one on 24 Mar 1816 to a Mary Plews and one a few years later to a Mary Beach who was a widow.
I have her death certificate but it doesn't state her maiden name. How can I find out more? I feel like I have exhausted every avenue.

At the marriage to Mary Beach he was a widower so possibly both marriages were him.
