Thanks. The info posted is what I have. Brothers Allan, Owen and Richard all went to Australia. I have their marriages(Richard did not marry) and deaths. Appears that Maria also ended up there.
Familysearch has a burial for a William Robert Smith 21 Jun 1894 Geraldton W.A. with a year of birth 1848. I suspect this is the person refered to in earlier post and probably not mine.

This looks like Maria Edith's father's death and probate - and he's described as a print seller, which would match with "picture dealer".

No idea when he immigrated. I am following Marie Emma Tarrant (1848 Hampstead) Some of her brothers went to Australia and I thought she may have also gone. Problem is her age and fathgers occupation do not match so not sure how accurate William's info is.
The info for William Robert is taken from the church register
William was a plumber

Hi Ed

You might need to buy the marriage certificate to check the full details of names and ages

When/where were the BM's of the couple please?

Ed

Ed Report 19 Oct 2015 18:06

I have an 1884 marriage transcription from Australia for William Robert age 27. He states that he was born in London and that his parents were John and Ellen Smith. His father's occupation was Inland Revenue Officer.
Can someone have a look and see if they can find him in census please?

Addendum - when the wife died her name was spelt Smyth
