Hi can anyone help me... I have found a burial for someone I believe could be my great grandfather... But without ordering a death certificate for him which may not be him I don't know any other way to identify him.. These are his details.
Alfred Woid. Died at 35 Palgrave crescent Sheffield.. In the same grave is Elizabeth Sarah. However my great Nan was called Sarah Elizabeth... The dates of death and their age at death works out perfectly if they are my great grandparents....his occupation fits also...
I don't think there was electoral rolls back then so is there any other was I can confirm this.. He was buried on 12 December 1944
Grateful for any help or suggestions
Wendy

On the 1911 census he gives his address as 'Well Lane' which is close to the address given on his burial record.
