Thanks Ann, I do appreciate your assistance and I'm getting a clearer picture of how things work. The major step seems to be establishing that definite link back to the UK ie to find correct William Hudson. The Hudson family from Norton Lindsay that someone else has sent through looks the most likely and ties up with the marriage recording of William & Sarah Randle that you sent through. I think I start pursuing this line further.
