Hi Austin,

Not the right husband my Alice's husband was Tom Ambrose Asquith and he died 1933. Not sure if I have the right Alice's death as there was one in 1949 too.

I wonder if this is the 1949 death referred to?

Alice Asquith in the West Yorkshire, England, Deaths and Burials, 1813-1985

Name: Alice Asquith
Death Age: 76
Birth Year: abt 1873
Burial Date: 25 Feb 1949
Parish: Thornhill, St Michael and All Angels, Yorkshire, England

Her address was Parker Road, Thornhill Lees. Buried in plot F212.

This was in the diocese of Wakefield so possibly not the right one - there was also a 1949 death of a 70 year old Alice in Leeds.

Hi Marie,

Thank you, its the 70yrs old Alice in Leeds 1949 so not the one you found or the 1941 one, I have now found out that she was buried in the cemetery in Hunslet and she is in same grave as her son and his wife . As the source is olny a grave index I now need to go to Leeds to see the actual burial records as I have lots more buried there but wont be able to go until next year.

Thank you anyway Marie. :-D
