Hi Ladies
I came across Edward Marsden & Anna Murray as follows:

Michael Marsden born 1819 Dublin found 1841 on census with Eliza Marsden both aged 20 & i presume were married. Eliza passed away in London leaving daughter & husband alone on 1851 census where they reside with Married again to Sarah Bartholomew born 1834 Ashford Kent. Sarah brought up Ann as her own and had children Michael, George, Edward, Alexander (my 2nd great grandfather) & Frederick

There are Marsdens in Dublin in the early 1700s COI. so maybe Thomas is related ?

Would be worth looking at the NLI parish records perhaps to see if Thomas and Mary appear, not sure whether there would be any ref to his occupation or birthplace which might help.

Anne
Have looked at the post earlier and cannot find anything else relative to Thomas and Mary Marsden.
I have found a marriage of Edward Marsden and Anne Murray Jan1st. 1814 St Andrews RC Church but no Baptisms of any of their children..

I think Joanne will need to explain a bit more how she worked back to the family in Dublin.

Hello
I'm looking for some guidance please on locating the following line of Marsden's. :
Thomas Marsden born abt 1771 & wife Mary who i think may originate from the North of England.

My first sighting is in Dublin with the birth of their son Edward Marsden in 1791 - He was baptised on 13 Feb 1791 in Dublin, Ireland.

Edward Marsden married Anna Murray - They had many children in Dublin my line being twin boys Michael & Benjamin Marsden in 1819 in Dublin, Ireland.
I have traced Michael (Michael is my Line) & Benjamin but cannot find anything relating to Thomas Marsden & his wife Mary??????
Would they have left England for Dublin in the late 1780's?

Any help or assistance would really be much appreciated.

Kind Regards
Joanne Marsden
