How have you got back to this couple?
Where did you find William's birth and the name of his wife? Did they have children?
With such a common name we need a bit more information.

I have William Anderson born 1920 Benwell Newcastle married Alice Boyle
I cannot find any parents for either of them
Maybe I will just need a marriage to get thr cert
