Hi Gins,

I did try and make that connection with that John Mcfadyian 1760 Ayr, but could not make it work no other sibblings by the same parents also found a Marriage Janet Galbreath (1759–) 25 Jan 1783 • Coylton, Ayrshire, Scotland ????

there's also a David McFadyean and a Janet McGarvie with children David 1758 and Janet 1754 in ayr as well

I see one of their sons was named David so this may be a possible

I believe you need to access Scotland's People for this information

That is a pay per view site, but you can search it for free, and then decided whether you need to buy the credits in order to see a record.

Jean McGarvie, Low church, Paisley, Scotland

I have all his childrens Information but no birth date or place or death date and no parents. I have a Jean McGarvie born 26 MAR 1765 Dalrymple, Ayrshire, Scotland in the 1841 census in the same street of the McFadyens with an Agnus McGarvie and John Graham. Can anyone help?
