He seems to be her son-in-law, having married one of her younger daughters in 1941.
A possible son of the marriage was born in 1944.

In 1936, 1937, and 1938 , William, Henrietta Harriett, Eileen, and one of the other younger daughters, are living at 19 Casslee Road, Lewisham SE6

1939, those four, plus Charles W, are at the same address.

I am hoping that someone can help me to trace the history of my grandfather please.
His name is Charles W Daly and all that I know for sure is that he married Emily Snelgrove in 1935 and that they had a son in 1937 and named him Alan (my father). They then split up so we don't know the rest of the story.
I look forward to hearing from anyone who may be able to help and wish everyone luck with their searches.
