JG was born in Barnston, Cheshire in 1893.He served in WW!.
He died in 1967 and buried in Brakespeare Cemetery, Ruislip,Middx.
There are records between 1936 and 39 for London area of him
living at same address as an Elizabeth Gladys Peters.
As far as I know this was not another family member, and I presume it
was his wife.
However, I cannot find any marriage, and to make matters a tad
more difficult I do not know Elizabeth´s maiden surname.
Grateful for any help.

If he's the son of Joseph and Catherine then according to his baptism record he was born 23 Nov 1892.
Baptism is on FindMyPast, can add image if it's the right one.

Looks like it will be the correct marriage given the name of 'Ronald Lloyd Peters' on his probate record. - A son perhaps??
EDIT - Yes, the son was born Dec Q 1926 in Birkenhead.

I was surprised too that Ian had deleted the thread although he did say "No more action required". Perhaps he wanted to find the info himself. Having said that though he didn't seem very proficient at research. For instance there's no reason he couldn't have found that marriage himself on FreeBMD.

So Ian must already have had that baptism image then .....
Or perhaps it wasn't the right one as his John Gladstone Peters was (apparently) born 1893.

I freely admit I missed the marriage referred to, but surely,
most of us amateur searchers have missed something at
sometime, and I ask for forgiveness.
I took my posting down and thanked all concerned for the
help I had received.
I was not aware someone else could resurrect my posting.
Again, my thanks for help, and I will now undergo a proficiency
test, which at my age might be a good idea.
