Message from Rachel.

Herbert was born Herbert Richard Charles Carn he married had two boys and then 'ran away' with a younger lady to America forever. Only in the last 18 months I found he died in Torquay and his widow was LB Corrie. On his death certificate it is written Corrie known as Carn. I am not sure if he married her as he was still legally married to Ada Isabelle, I have read that often Men that lived with ladies they weren't married to would take on their name so people would think they were married. I hope to find out in the next couple of months as I can only do this research occasionally. Thanks again fort your help.


I think MarieCeleste's advice about buying the marriage certificate would be your next step to finding out more about this couple.
