Manor Farm and barns August 2009

Bedfordshire and Luton Archives and Records Service has a document in 1677 which is a survey of the lands belonging to Colmworth Manor. It also contains the names of all the tenants occupying that land [AD1021]. The tenants, with their holdings and amount of rent paid, are listed are as follows:

Reach back to 1579, and you're extremely lucky to find PR!

You may need to look into manorial records or poll tax lists. If you're extremely lucky, you may find a Will

I have ancestors from Colmworth and if I remember rightly the parish records only survive from 1735.
How did you get back so far?

I have come to a dead end in my research into my family history. Thomas Boston is who I am looking into and wanting to go back further. His details are as follows: -

Thomas Boston -
born 1579 in Colmworth, Bedford and died in 1641 in Eaton Socon, Bedford. Spouse is unknown. Had 3 Children - John, Alice and Thomas (my Bloodline).
