littlelegs was she 35 years old when she died,(from death cert) she is Annis Selby on
Ancestry. born 1883 died 1918 Nottingham.but no burial.

Yes you want to look at where she died AND her normal address

So in block 1 When and where died e.g. for my grand aunt 9th July 1932 Barry

Then in Block 5 Occupation it says of 15 Fairfax Road Newport Mon wife of....

Where was she living when she died - perhaps there was room in the local churchyard or there was a family plot in one. Maybe Wendy could have look when she's next in the Archives working out from the home address as the date is specific?

hi have looked on find my past and found a

annie selby birth 1883 death 1918 nottingham

have looked on that site gins

i have annies death cert but just dont know where to lok for her burial did ring a cemetery this morning and they cover 4 or 5 cemeteries and shes not in there so dont really know what to do now

Nottinghamshire burials contain over 240,000 records transcribed by the Nottingham Family History Society. Spanning the 366 years between 1539 and 1905, the records were kept by the Church of England.

The Church of England mandated the keeping of registers in 1539 and, up until the Religious Toleration Act of 1689, all registrations were kept by the Church of England.

Each record contains a transcription of original source material that lists the deceased’s name, religious denomination, date of burial and place of burial.
