Hi Margee

Sorry, had to go out. Thanks for your efforts. Yes, sadly, Eva died in an asylum. I'm choosing to believe she had depression :-)

Prickles - haven't been on here in a while, forgot about searching other trees.

Cheers
Carol

Well, that was a waste of time! Think I'll go and do some housework.

I see from your other thread that mother Eva Amelia was in the lunatic asylum in 1911 where she died in 1915.

Parents' marriage? Sorry, I know this isn't what you asked for, I just can't resist.

I think this is the same family in 1901. Harry's occupation is the same, fitter of gas company apparatus.

This looks like the family in 1911. Harry says married not widowed but where's wife? He says married 11 years, 5 children born, all living. It has been crossed out because only the wife was supposed to fill in those details.

FreeBMD has 2 Webster births with mother's maiden name Horton in Southport (same place where marriage was registered). However one is same quarter, same year as marriage, the other is in 1937.

Hi

Eva is my grandfather's younger sister, born Nov 1905. I think she married Joseph Webster in Dec 1934 (ancestry search). If she did, then I found her death registration from May 1996 in Merseyside.

Anyone out there related? My mum didn't know her father's siblings so I've no idea about any of her cousins. Would be lovely to hear from someone.

There were four brothers - Archie, born 1901, who I think died in 1976, Sidney, born 1902, who may have died in 1942 (neither appears to have married), Fred (my grandfather) and Charlie, born 1908, possibly died 1983.

Thanks
Carol
