There is a marriage of a Janet Green in 1909, County of Fife, District Windygates but without using credits nothing else is available to see. If you check the details you can then look on the 1911 census to see them if living in Scotland (as already advised).

You will also be able to look for children - SP does not let you put mothers maiden name in as a finding aid, but 1 credit will bring up a list of possibles which will show parents names up to the 100 years ago mark and you can look at the certificate/download for 5 credits - parents details not available later, but certificates can be sent for.

You can also look up deaths.

i have been trying to see if janet or mary mclaughlan suttie
had any children and where she would have died but i am having no luck at all if anyone has any information they can share with me i would be so greatful

Scotlands People website certainly shows that a George Findlay married a Mary Green in 1907 in Fife in the district of Windygates. This is available to find without the use of credits.

SP credits cost £7 for 30 credits. 1 credit will bring a list of results - up to 25 a page and a further 5 will allow you to look at and download certificates. Privacy limits these to births over 100 years ago, marriages 75 years and deaths 50 years. Less than that then the GRO reference is given and the certificated can be obtained through the Scottish GRO.
