Find Ancestors

I am looking for any info on Noel.. He was in Australian Air Force during Second World War. Married Muriel Forde nee cope, both living Victoria Australia 1949. Can't find them together after that.

When were they born?

Do you know if they had middle names?

To help in finding death records, do you know their fathers' names and/or mothers' maiden names?

Have just received Muriel's second wedding certificate. She marries Noel beresford Richardson. Who's is serving in the rat. He is from Victoria, Australia. Any info or connections with Noel would be great.

Thanks for reply. Muriel was born 1919. Muriel clarice cope born london. Noel beresford Richardson born 1924 Australia. Noel's father was Walter wallace, Muriel father Thomas bertram cope. In 1949 I have Noel and Muriel living at ballaarat, Victoria. Thanks

Pilot-Officer Paul W. W. Richardson, reported missing as a result of air operations on August 24, is the eldest son of the Rev and Mrs W. Richardson, of Clunes, which town he left just three years ago. His service included air operations over Kenya and Burma with the RAAF. Flight-Sgt Noel Richardson, second son of Mr and Mrs Richardson, is serving with the RAAF in England.

I was just about to put that link up too- seems to suggest partner was Lorraine- which fits with 1968 electoral register, where he is living with a Lorraine Mary Richardson:

I have since found out that Noel remarries, new wife Lorraine Mary. Keep looking for Muriel but with no luck. Can anyone help/suggest what happens to Muriel C Richardson, I cannot find a death for her in Australia. Cannot find her back in UK either. Any suggestions?

You could try the 'National Library of Aus' (on-line) (covers ALL States) -hopefully they can trace Muriel from electoral rolls (1949-1968+?) - this may show when/if she left Aus. They may even find a newspaper death notice for her.

The 'RYERSON INDEX' (on-line) has a 'Funeral Notice' for Muriel Clarice Madelaine (Maddy) Richardson 14/2/2011 age 91yrs of Southport (QLD).
Funeral Notice in 'Gold Coast Bulletin' 12/2/2011.
Ryerson's will do a 'look-up' of this notice -probably limited details of her Funeral.
