The above was my great grandma, born 29 Sept; 1839.
Her father,William Shipsides is the ancestor I am now trying
to locate but no luck so far despite trawling through various records. All of my ancestors were born and raised in the east end parish of Sunderland, co; Durham. I have located some family members up to my grandfather, born in 1870.
Anyone with the name Shipsides may well be connected to this side of the family.
