Thanks for your help. I am also seeking information on Daniel's death and his wife Mary.

According to other family tree members she died in 1949 in Ireland while at her daughter Louisa's.

Louisa was married to Samuel Frizzle/Frizzell of Belfast.

But they believe Daniel died in Scotland. I have checked Scotlands People for record of his death but no record of it. Now believe he also died in Ireland.

Hannah and Samuel's son Daniel was my great grandfather. I am trying to trace beyond Hannah and Samuel's parent but having little success.
What is your relationship to them.

Seeking birth records of Samuel McLaughlin from Coleraine area. His father was named John and mother Agnes Christie according to Scottish death certificate.
He married Hannah Frizzle in Coleraine in 1861. Her father was named William and mother was named Jane Thompson/Thomson
Both fathers were marked as labourers in the marriage certificate. Samuel, Hannah and their children came to Greenock in the late 1870's.
