I'm trying to help my mum trace her family. Unfortunately her Mother died in !964 when she was only 7. My Grandmothers was born Doris J Kew (but was known as Peggy) in 1925.in the Pewsey , Wiltshire area She married Kenneth Ward in 1945, and had 5 children before dying in 1964.
We know that Doris had a older sister called Violet Vera, born in 1916 and she married Harry Kimber in 1936. Violet died in the district of Warminster in 1986.
If anyone has any information, in particular of doris and violets parents I would be most grateful. I have discovered that their mother had the maiden name of CHOULES Thank you
