No it isn't looking too good, lets hope they come back with something. Even her birth year is a bit doubtful - ranging from 1808 (death registration) to 1812/13 on the census returns.

I assume you've got their first child Mary Ann from the 1841 census - but there could have been an earlier one(s), so difficult to predict when they married, let alone where they married.

Quite a lot for Herts. on FMP, some Kimpton, a Mary Moss 1801. Parents James and Sarah.

(although a Marriage 1819 to John Bracey, Kimpton)

The 1871 and 1881 census records state that Mary Ann was born in Kimpton, Hertfordshire.

I emailed St Paul and St Peter's Church, Kimpton today.

Fingers crossed they might be able to help.

The four children on that 1841 census were all born in Middlesex.

Regarding Kimpton Herts rather than Kimpton Hants?

They appear to have a Hampshire connection Ma'am, both living there and dying there. Are you sure the POB is Kimpton Herts rather than Kimpton Hants?

The tree that has Mary Ann born Kimpton, Nr Ayot St Lawrence, Herts ....states that the Grandson William is connected to Edward Vll

You lot might have to refer to me as Ma'am......and bow or curtsy before speaking to me in the future!

Yes Mike.....that is her on the 1881 census with Grandson William.

The reason that "hatingkansas" has that information regarding Mary Ann......is because I sent him the details of Emily's birth cert yesterday.

There is another tree owned by "hatingkansas" which has the photo and has her birth place as Buntingford and her name as Mary Ann Mofs.

On the photo it has Grandmother of William Chandler 1862 to 1941 and wife of Jasper Chandler. Also died 1881 (though her death is not in the tree)

I only received the cert on Friday and I have been searching ever since.

My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I spotted that photo this morning.

I have sent a message to the tree owner...........I must say though that some of the info on that tree doesn't quite add up.

An example:...The tree has Mary Ann's death 1880..........she is on the 1881 census though and died in 1882.

It also does not have Mary Ann's maiden name.

A tree on Ancestry has a photo of her and gives POB as Kimpton, Nr Ayot St Lawrence, Herts but there are no sources given.
