Find Ancestors

Looking for the parents of my great great grandfather John Annetts, born about 1805 in Herefordshire. He was married to Elizabeth Hollings, also born 1805 in Herefordshire. They are listed as living in Ledbury along with children in the 1841 Census. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I seem to have hit a wall in going further back in my family tree.

As Mike* says, the death certificate will give his age


It is interesting to note that both John and his wife Elizabeth say they are 36 on the 1841 Census. But Elizabeth, widow, also says she is only 36 on the 1851 Census!!

Thank you all for all the helpful information. I did not have the date of death, so this has been helpful. I will try and get his death certificate which should help. Appreciate the leads, as I only had the 1841 census to work from and know that I am descended from his son William Henry Annetts born 26 Aug 1829 in Ledbury and died 1897 in Martley Worcestershire.
