No, not pros......just keen amateurs

The additional children were found by looking for the parents on the earlier censuses

They were actually recorded as Foster........as you will have noticed.........and were found by using the 'variants' option when searching

I meant George. Great news now I know a bit more things should be easier to research. You must all be pros considering I couldn't even figure out the grandparents had more than 3 children.

No............................his father wasn't William

Look again at the marriage info

Wow! Really wasn't expecting so much help! Thank you everyone for your contributions. Yes I will defiantly be sending off for birth certificates. Atleast now I have somewhat pieced together their relationships. So haraces mom was Jane Forster and father William Powell. I don't know why I could only find three children of Lucy and Johnston Forster when it seems there was infact a lot more. Thankyou ! Any more Info would be much appreciated ;-)

I would think this is his birth registration:-

First name(s) HORACE ARTHUR
Last name POWELL
Birth year 1900
Birth quarter 4
Registration month -
Mother's last name -
District ASTON
County Warwickshire
Country England
Volume 6D
Page 250

The certificate will name his mother and father - unless he was illegitimate in which case it will only name his mother.

On the 1901 census it gives his place of birth as Birmingham although he was living in Quarry Bank.
