Had a look at Florence Leah's birth cert, but her parents were a John and a Beatrice.

Florence May's not their daughter either. Parents Charles and Florence.

Yes, but Patrick and Martha had children before marrying, so the same may have happened with Jeanie.

He didn't marry Jeanie until 1904

Given that Patrick and Martha and living in Briidgeton in 1911, I wouldn't rule out the Florence Leah birth as both Dennistoun and Camlachie registration districts are close to Bridgeton.

These are all the Roper births in Glasgow 1900 - 1907.

EDIT: From the above amendments, it doesn't look as if Jeanie and Patrick had children. Unless born somewhere other than Glasgow. Or unless one of the Florences is theirs.

Patrick and Martha were living together before they married. See the 1911 census above. Ellen Roper born 1908 and William John born 1909 were Patrick and Martha's children. Their births are on Scotlandspeople

Despite already having children together, Patrick and Martha didn't marry until 1913.

my cousin in Australia told me Patrick married Jeannie in1904 and Martha had a son William about1909 then Michial Thomas 1917 then Patrick then James. So they must have married about that time

Patrick Roper was my grandma brother I got as far as Jeannie marriage but all I can get on Martha is there son Thomas is on22 march 1942 on navel memorials it said father Patrick Roper mother Martha Roper Patrick Roper was In the army and served in India in1914 war

The children that Audrey have in her tree as being the issue of Patrick Roper and Martha Murphy were born 1914 & 1916.

If he married Jeanie Harvie in 1904 then we would assume he married Martha after that (if they did indeed marry - Jeanie didn't die until 1955, according to Audrey's tree).

Some further info and clarification needed from Audrey.

That's interesting Mike - when I did the search above there WAS a marriage in Glasgow to a Jeanie Fleming Harvie (who Audrey has in her tree)

According to her tree, children were also born in Ireland
