Member Since: November 2005 Posts: 43 Send Message	Hi Everyone, I am trying to find information on my family member David Scott. According to family, he was born 25th Dec 1821 in Ceres Fife. He married Mary Fyall at Ceres Fife 12th Feb 1842 and worked as a manufacturer moulder. I know they had at least one child (my 2xGreat grandad) David who was born in 1849, though apparently there were 2 locations listed for his birth according to family one was Newcastle upon Tyne and the other Ceres Fife. He was the first of the Scott family to migrate to Australia arriving here in 1873. I was hoping to find out maybe his actual place of birth and if he had any siblings. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks in advance Cheers Kathryn

	Although most of the children were born in Ceres, according to the censuses, I can't find any birth or baptism records for them on Family Search or ScotlandsPeople for those born up to 1854 - Anne, John, James, David, Margaret, Peter. After that there's Mary Jane, born Newcastle upon Tyne, 1855 (per 1861 & 1871 censuses.
