John Report 26 Jul 2015 18:22

A great grandmother on my mother's side, Elizabeth Hutchence, born Liverpool 1858 -1929 had a sister, EMMA HUTCHENCE, born 1859, Great Broughton, Cheshire. The family moved around the country a lot as father was organ builder. I have a marriage record for Emma which I believe to be correct: m. John Sims, 1883 Q2, Leeds, Yorkshire. The Hutchence family lived in Leeds for a long period. My immediate family are also from Leeds. I am aware that Emma and Elizabeth were two of eight siblings and father Henry Hutchence, born 1818, built the magnificent organ in Leeds Town Hall. I cannot find any trace of Emma and John Sims in census records 1891 onwards, no death records for them and nothing on any immigration/travel records. Can anyone please help? Thanking you. :-)
