Welcome to the boards, Vera.

Having checked "Search trees", I see there are only 3 entries for Winifred Rouse 1919, one of which is yours, Vera.
Neither of the other two look as if they're "your" Winifred - though my knowledge of London areas is sketchy.

If she was fostered out she may have adopted the foster family surname
Or
She may never have married and passed away after 2005 so the record won't show online

I see that several of us have looked at your post, without anyone leaving any kind of message.

I've just had a quick look, and all I can find online is her birth registration.

Your chances of anyone just happening to read this who did know the family is pretty slim.

The way to use GR is to search the Member Trees to see if any member has a tree containing either your aunt or her mother.

Got to Search at the top.

Click on Search All Trees

Enter the information requested

You will then get a listing of trees containing the name ....... you then click on the tree owner's name and send a private message (pm) to that member asking if there might be a connection between the families.

Please do not just use the automatic "Share your tree" message ............ provide some information as to why there might be a linkage.
