John and Jane Dowson - 1891 Census

Hi all,

I have lost some of my relatives (my great-great-grandparents on my dad's side) from the 1891 Census - I have track of them before and after this, but cannot find them in 1891. I've also lost his wife Jane in 1881.

John Dowson
- Born 1864 in Mickleton,Teesdale
- Married Jane in Barnard Castle, Teesdale on the 8th October 1887
- Lived in Mickleton prior to Marriage, working as a Quarryman
- Lived in Middleton after Marriage, still working as a Quarryman

Jane Burney
- Born 1862 in Mickleton, Teesdale
- Father is not recorded on Marriage certificate, but have found Jane with her family in 1871
- NOT found record of Jane for 1881

William John Dowson
- Their Son, Born 25 July 1888 in Middleton, Teesdale

If anyone is able to help me locate these relatives, I would be really grateful. I have found another 3 generations for this pedigree, and tracked them through the census records but this family have eluded my searches so far.

Thank you so much. I've only been looking at my family tree for a few years - and spend about 1 month a year and then take a break.

So still learning the tricks of the trade when trying to search records, but I do enjoy it.

Really appreciate your help, I will go and download the records and add them to my relatives.
