Thanks for info, but still not sure how |I can look for him after 1919, as he was never mentioned in the family.
Could have died / moved away but have noone who can help in the family.

I have now traced George Smith, born 22nd July 1892 in Leicester to John Farren Smith and Ellen Smith, formerly Langton.
He was an uncle my father knew nothing of and didn't know until recent research existed.
I have now managed to trace him up to 191 census and through WW1.
He returned safely from the war as records indicate.

Can anyone advise how to try and find him after the war, as his names are making searches difficult.
