You didn't say when he split with Ada; last child of the marriage seems to have been born c1920 Epsom.

Electoral registers show a Frederick George Hopper at 4 Gurney Rd, Carshalton, Mitcham in 1918.

Frederick is still at the same address with Ada Evaline in 1927.

In 1928 Frederick George Hopper and Ada Hopper are living at 61 Culvers Way , Carshalton, Mitcham, and they are still there on the 1929 Electoral roll.

Ada is recorded as Ada Evaline on Electoral rolls 1922-1927.

She may have been born with a slightly different name - remember the Ada E E Galyer on the marriage index? Also the Ada E E Hopper-Nye on the death ref posted earlier by Ann Cardiff.

Name: Ada Emma E Gallyer
Registration Year: 1891
Registration Quarter: Oct-Nov-Dec
Registration district: Epsom
Inferred County: Surrey
Volume: 2a
Page: 4

There is at least one George Frederick Hopper on the London Ers, but it's impossible to tell if it's the same man.

There are records of an Ada, Ada Elizabeth, Ada E., with an Albert Edward Nye from 1934 onwards in the Surrey ERs (the record collection ends in 1945) . It looks like Ada's younger child took the surname Nye by 1945, and may have had her death recorded as Nye in 1946.
