A tree on Ancestry says that George's parents were Stephen Mummery (1758-1841) and Mary White (1760-).

It says Stephen's parents were Stephen Mummery (1734-1797) and Finch Dowle (1731-).

good afternoon

i have a george mummery married to may elizabeth eyre. george was born in 1789 in eastry kent. i have found other mummerys on ancestry e g

john mummery b1650 dover kent , stephen born 1621 in dover kent, i believe stephen is johns father? richard born 1593 in the same place i think richard is stephens father?

so any help with the right family connection would be helpful
