I have been trying to find the marriage for Samual and Mrs Thomas but can't seem to find anything I did find one for a Samuel hodgsen Thomas and emma cavalier but not sure if that's them??

There is a possible birth in 1876 in Woolwich reg district which include Charlton.

I found him on the 1901 census but before that I'm not sure. There were rumours in my husbands family that William was born in India but I don't know how to start that search?
