Hello just wondering if anyone has information on my grandfather Albert Clements?
Not sure DOB or where is was born or anything about him.

My Great grandmother was Cecilia Pearl Alice Hedger born 1913 Hackney died in 2001 Kingston upon Thames.
I found the marriage of them both...Cecilia married Albert Clements in 1934 in Brentford Middlesex.

Any information about Albert Clememts would be fantastic as i can't find nothing apart from the Wedding.

Your best bet would be to get their marriage cert. for his age and fathers name

There's no birth for and Albert Clements in Brentford where they married

There are others with a second name but none with just the one christian name

So your best bet is to get their married cert for its info

Do you know when he passed away ?

But the informant on the death cert could have had his birth year wrong!!!

The date would fit with the birth qtr but was maybe birth year was different from what the informant thought

One person other than you has Cecilia in a GR tree.

If you aren't already in contact, it would be a good idea to try to get in touch

I contacted 2 people one was 4 years ago and they never messaged me back.....
it says they last logged in over a year ago.
The other person just has Albert Clements 1911 and some of Cecilia side of the family.

I have just oldered the wedding cert whoop.

I'm shocked it's under £10 on https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates,
but double on other sites that's disgusting!
Is it that he same marriage cert on all sites?
I remember only paying £8-£9 about 5 years ago for one.

There is only one cert - they only married once

The sensible option for getting copies of any certs is the GRO.

Their charges have increased in recent years, but they are still the best

If people are gullible enough to pay the extra on other sites, you can't blame the sites for letting them
