How do you know that the census records you refer to are for the same person

the name is very common

Walls Not Watt/Watts
So familysearch was wrong



This guy just doesn't want to be found, he was born 1834 Manchester but he isn't on the family we have in 1841,in 1851 he says he's from Ireland he worked for Bon'ess potteries got married 1853 says he was born Manchester, not on any other censuses

One day I'll find him Thank you for helping

So who is shown as Robert's wife on censuses AFTER 1861?

I've got bit about Robert Watt I've been on here before regarding him bit of a loose canon the only record I've got is his marriage to a Marion McAlpine they had 3 children but she died 1861 .

This marriage might not be him but I just wanted to make sure.
When his son died in 1929 he put his mother as Ellen Watt not Marion Watt, he was only 6 when his mother Marion died

Watt/Watts could be spelt anyway even Waits

I don't want any other research as it's been done Thank you

Hi I want to get a marriage on scotlandspeople for Robert Watts and Ellen Forest married 7 Feb 1862 Edinburgh Parish Midlothian according to familysearch?? but I can't find it on Scotlandspeople has anyone got any suggestions please
