Absolutely NOT the case. There is no such thing as a free trial with freebmd

oops Jacqueline i was clicking on the advert! and thanks for your link Chris. Thanks again to everyone for their help. I will be ordering the certificates shortly and like i posted earlier my son and I will be driving down from sunny Morayshire in Scotland to Suffolk on a fact finding/grave hunting expedition.

I be posting a few other problems i need a spot of help with soon too

Reginald...I don't know what you are doing. You do not have to register to use FreeBmd. Click on the link, select search, enter the details, click find and it will bring up all the results. And then you can view in more detail by clicking on the page number. It will only show you other births, marriages or death entries sharing the same volume and page. It is an index only so you can't see the certificates

Hi Reginald,

You say that you signed up for the 7 day free trial through that advert - I presume that you had to give bank details? If so, don't forget to go back and cancel the trial before the 7 days is up or they will be taking payment from your account ! :-0
