I can find my great grandmother (Lizzie Malone) in the 1901 census and in the 1911 census married to Patrick Ryan.. However I haven't been able to find any of her siblings or parents in the 1911 census.. Can anyone help? I apologise if I've missed something glaringly obvious!

It's possible that her sisters were also married so would be under different names?

Is it possible that the family emigrated? It could also be that Patrick died after the 1901 census and Sarah remarried, so the family are under another name?

Do you have the marriage certificate for Lizzie? If so then does it state if father is deceased, or not? Who were the witnesses? If these were members of the family then you know that at least those should still be in the area.

Hi

Looks like mother Sarah died in 1906

Daughter Sarah Ann seems to have married Joseph Keegan in 1906 and on the 1911 her brother Pat Malone is living with her

It's a case of searching for each one separately!

I haven't yet managed to get hold of any official documents.. Although I do have lizzie's baptism certificate which has Sarah Kavanagh and Patrick Malone listed as parents.. One of the witnesses was Brigid Kavanagh which I assumed might be Sarah's sister.. Gins, where did you find information about Sarah having died in 1906?
