I have tried numerous sites to find a marriage date for my Aunty born 1923 died 1948 to no avail her name was Irene Burke nee Thorpe she was born in Birkenhead Cheshire and lived in Oldham and died in Rochdale
Any help in how to find the info would be appreciated

This is the only 1923 birth in Birkenhead - if correct she was Irene B which might help to pinpoint a marriage.

Her marriage was likely to have been during the war years, maybe she worked away from home e.g. Land Army or even joined the Forces.

Did they have children, where were they born?

mgvn The birth and death info is what I have already the marriage looks as if it could be the one as my uncle was John T Burke and Aunty Irene B Thorpe and they lived in Royton

They where married and had 1 child also named Irene Burke
This is the first time I have used the message board so sorry if I messed up a bit
