Hello I am trying to prove Maria Bailey was the eldest child of my (4?) great grandfather Daniel Pearce Bailey was born in 1793 and Married Anna ? they had 4 children . Maria 1817 in Bucklebury ( this is the 1 I would like to find out if she married ) Daniel Pearce Bailey 1818, Matilda 1825 Henry 1826, & William 1827. Thank you

From the 1841 census and the children's births he was married to Maria not Anna

Daniel Pearce Bailey was Maria's brother , I have his marriage lines from the G R O as a standing ,and I have taken it from there, so no I know she was born in Bucklebury. Daniel P ( both father & son ) was a blacksmith and did move around but I don't think the Kintbury Maria is the 1 :-)

Where did you get your info about Maria born c1817?

I would have thought the 1843 death was a married woman..................her residence was Barracks

I checked on I G I Individual Records . But there are so many Maria Baileys I am not prepared to buy GRO certificates to find the right 1

As she was born before 1837 and possibly married or died before that date there are no certificates only what is found on the parish registers..... There is only one Maria Bailey born Berkshire around that time..... But that doesn't mean there were not others
