I've been handed down a family heirloom. A pocket watch inscribed, 'Isabella Wilkinson 1897 Rogerley Lodge, Frosterley.
The connection is through my nana, Bessie Evans 1909-2010, her mother was Mary Jane Wilkinson 1876-1967, they were sisters.
Can anyone tell me more about Isabella, I.e. DOB, was she married / any children / what is the connection with Rogerley Lodge.

I think we need clarification.

Your title has 1876 for Isabella
but the watch is inscribed 1897

Was Bessie Evans nee Wilkinson ?
Was Mary Jane Mrs Wilkinson or born Wilkinson ?
