Does anyone out there have a Thomas George Wilmer on their family tree? I know there won't be may due o the unusual surname

Welcome to the boards Frances.

Try using the "search" option at the top right of screen and then click on "search all member trees". Put in the name and approximate year of birth and if any trees come up you can contact the tree owner direct.

EDIT - there are two other people apart from yourself (one called Sandra and one called Stephen) who have this person in their tree if he was born 1880 in Clerkenwell.

Wilmer is not an unusual surname as there are 1000's registered.

If you are looking for Thomas b 1881 then his father was also Thomas George

Yes, it is the right family. They are various generations of 'grandfathers', made easier as they were called Thomas George, a tradition we still maintain. I was hoping someone would have a 'Wilmer' in their family whom I could connect to. Happy that people have wanted to help me.
