I am trying to find the birth details of William Johnson born c1799 in Kings Norton Worcestershire, I think?. I think his father was a James Johnson ? his mother I don't know.
I know his marriage and children later in life but can't find anything definite about his birth, except from a census later in his life.
Any information would be most appreciated, thank you David

Thanks for your replies, Yvonne has the correct person on the 1871 census, this is where I obtained the Kings Norton worcs info from.

not sure that you can get a birth certificate for that year i think they only start from 1837
