Hi This is going to be complicated but here goes.
First of all I'm looking for the parents of a Reginald Glen Wood born 16/7/1922 possibly South Africa.
Now in my tree I have Charles Wood born 1789 Essex England, he married Annie or Ann Penny born 1794 Margaretting England, they went to South Africa and had their family so far so good, one of their children called John Wood born 1823 married Mary Glen. They had their children, one was called James Wood born 1855 now this is my problem I'm trying to find where Reginald Glen Wood fits in. Can someone look up in Ancestry.com and see if he is the son of James Wood born 1855 or is there another generation to add, I cant find where he fits in. I know Reginald Wood born 1922 married a Suzanna Scheepers that may help. Hope this isn't to mixed up thanks that's all the info I have.

Would doubt he was the son of someone born in 1850 if he was born in 1922 .the father would be 72 . There must be another generation in between

From the surname of his wife am guessing he married in South Africa so the family still lived there

The surname though seems to be Dutch

Ancestry doesn't bring up any South Africa records for them

A post on the Heritage Portal:

"My late father Reginald Glen Wood was born to Doris May Geen and James Wood on 16.7.1922. They lived at 49 Havelock Street PE which was built by a James Wood who I think was my fathers great grandfather!!"
