I'm new to this I am just researching at the moment and would be very grateful if anyone can help or point me the right way I'm looking for the child think his name is Dennis anyway child of Harold Dawson born 1898 approx who married Lydia Jarvis about 1945 in Bromley the end result I want is to find out about Dennis? Thankyou and Harold had children including my great nan with his first wife sorry her means escapes me either Beatrice or Mabel then she died and in about 1945 he had a thing with my nans best friend Lydia Jarvis who got pregnant. An old aunt of mine told me that Harold married Lydia but never lived with her. The son who she remembers as Dennis or now she tells me Robert was in the name of Dawson, Lydia and the boy lived in grove park at that time my aunt said they had contact for a little while until my great nans aunts (her mothers sisters) got involved and wouldn't have anything to do with Lydia and the boy so contact stopped. My nan lost her best friend and half brother but didn't have the nerve to go against the aunts. When she got older she often said that she wanted to find the boy so she could say sorry for not sticking up for him more etc that's why I want to find him to tell him thanks everyone <3

Sorry I'm a bit overwhelmed by all of this especially how helpful you are I just re read ur comments and realised the boys name was Robert as Elizabeth said born in 1944 I just mentioned this to my aunt and she said ah yes that was his name Robert it's a family name lol thankyou ;-)
