Hi Chris i knew Yatton Keynell was destroyed for 1841 however as Charlotte was married in Chippenham and was in Chippenham in 1851 i thought that census may still be there

I have been unable to find the 1841 census for Castle Combe. Do you have a copy?

Unfortunately the census enumerator's notebooks for some of the villages around Chippenham and Devizes have not survived. We do have the statistical information from them, which was compiled at the time, but the personal details of all the residents have been destroyed. Wiltshire parishes for which there are no enumerator's notebooks for 1841 are:

Can't see Stephen in 1841, either.

According to 1861 census, she has a daughter Mary Griffin born 1827 Yatton Keynell Wilts. Unable to see her 1841 either. There is also a Richard Griffin on the page, same birthplace, a son maybe? Born1819.

Hello all,

Im looking for the 1841 census for Charlotte Little born 1790 in Christian Malford, Wiltshire.

She married Isaac Griffin in 1811 and then married Stephen Davis in 1838.

She is widowed again by 1851 census.

Any help would be fantastic
