If those are his parents, a tree on Ancestry says he married Mary Frazer Stewart, born 1923 Sunderland, died Durham, no date given.
They had a son, George Michael, born with surname Hewison, 1944 South Shields; died with surname Lovely, 1973 Newton Aycliffe.
In 1964 the son George married Maureen Skipper, born 1943 South Shields, died 1989 South Shields.

The tree shows they had a son - no details given.

It says Herbert died 22 Feb 1990 in Sydney.

Yeah! Mary Fraser Stewart is my great nanna, when he left she married a man called John lovely and changed George hewison name to george lovely. George hewison is my grandad and Maureen skipper is nanna, thank you so much :-) Any ideas if I could find any of Herbert hodgson hewison living relatives?
