At that time the age of Majority was 21, not 18 as it is now. So the son would still have been considered a minor.

Thank you...she left her brother John a baker to administer her effects. I wonder why as her son was 18.
I still have not found where he went after she died. I hope it was not the nameless young man looking for farm work in an earlier post. There it mentions "Dunk" which is where Eliza worked before she married! sonya

You won't find the full details of a will online you would have to buy a copy of it

Her son was 18 when she died so may well have been able to take care of things himself.

There is a picture available of her grave on the finds grave website which also gives the following detail

Please could someone look up the probate record for Eliza Jane Greenhill who died 12 March 1894. Probate London 10 July 1894. I wanted to check who she left in charge of her sons inheritance if any!
