I am [I think 90%right] he is my g/uncle and I don't give monkeys about him. Why because there is 3 of them Edwin 1877,gertude 1880 and my g/dad henry albert 1885.
Gertude ran away and went to USA, Edwin marr ledbury 1902 and I hope had good life went down to shirehampton both of them were born out of wedlock, henry albert b 1885 when henry john summers marr caroline baker 1884 he was also the father of Gertrude so I thought he was also edwins dad, but I said this to the lady and she said I was wrong, there father henry john was a ladies man marr 3 times before he died, I did not know a great deal about Edwin but reread some letters Gertrude sent to my mum and she came in 1926 with her 2 children to see her brother at shirehamton her other brother henry albert live in leeds with wife and 2 girls she never came to see g/dad they did meet 1954 he went to USA to see her

I feel you're correct - Edwin Thomas is not yours

I'm still a bit confused with this:

"henry albert b 1885 when henry john summers marr caroline baker 1884 he was also the father of Gertrude so I thought he was also edwins dad".

IF I have found the right baptism for Edwin (?) his mother was named as LUCY.

Have I got my wires crossed?
