Thanks folks for all the in fo you sent. The lady in question s my mother and I wondered if there were any relatives out the about. Gwen and Ella had a brother Laurence who was drowned when the Repulse went down and I thought there may be some one there also Great Aunt Janey (Maria Barwis's sister) had 18 children and I kinow next to nothing about them. Go to Search at the top of the page and the Search All Members trees. Input the details you have and if there are matches the system will throw them up. Apart from yourself there are other people researching the family and you can then contact them.

Also use the free website http://www.freebmd.org.uk to check for bmd's from Q3 1837 to around 1960 or so (ongoing project to 1984 eventually)
