Ward
Thomas Ward, my great-grandad, was born at Grinton/Reeth in 1809, married in 1828 and lived in Bellerby with wife Elizabeth. I can’t find any trace of his father or mother on any records. All I know is his father was also called Thomas. Please can anyone help?

Hi Heather

Yes, you get help in researching ancestors by posting on the message boards

and you get help from other members of GR, not GR staff

BUT you do have to provide as much information as you know

We use any sources that we can to try to help .................. but we don't have any crystal balls!

Look at the box to the left of your screen, headed Tools

In that box is a heading My Threads

Clicking on My Threads will show you all threads that you have started or that you have posted on.

Do keep checking back to see if any of us have found anything ................ or most importantly, whether we have any questions for you that need answering before we can proceed
