George was the husband of my aunt Cissie (Maria Running), they got married 1923 in Glasgow. George is the son of Peter and Isabella Finnegan. I can find no trace of a birth for George ,or a marriage for Peter and Isabella, in Scotland. |

There is a public tree on Ancestry that has his birth, marriage and death certificates. |

Can I say thank you to all who have answered my cry for help. It just goes to show how easy it is when you spell the name correctly. It is spelt correctly on the marriage notice but I just copied it wrongly. |
