Thank you Claire & Yvonne...... I now need to print this off & study
just to be sure of my facts before I go any deeper into this.

The reason I asked is because I had a photo given to me of 3 sisters tending parents/grandparent grave in Croydon... Their facial features are so similar to my late M.in L. ....It has made me curious., wondering how many generations that family likeness can continue.

That would make George born C 1873.... Good

which would indicate a further generation back .

Harriet had I believe a brother George born c 1847.

That all seems to fit well. Thank you Will go look for marriages now.

Could some kind person please have a look for

Polly Dellaway/Dallaway/Dullaway.. (alternate spellings)
Born 1903 Croydon, Surrey...
Married Frederick Hartfield in 1922

Am trying to connect her to a Harriet Dullaway 1844-1896 who is oh's g.grand mother.

So as the next step ,I am looking for Polly's parents who I think were born in Croydon.....I think they may be George & Louisa Dellaway.

If so... Possible George may be brother of Harriet. !!
